Human Resources Specialist

Amy L. Crawford is the President of CCG (Crawford Consulting Group, Inc.). Founded in 2000, CCG provides a wide range of human resources, organizational development, training and development, risk management, and strategic business solutions for client organizations. She has over 20 years of hands-on management and consulting experiences focusing on the optimization of financial, human capital and operational resources.

Prior to founding her own business, Amy served as a Business Director, Senior Human Resources Consultant, and Lead Trainer for the SCI Companies, one of the country’s largest privately held Professional Employer Organizations (PEO’s) and provider of comprehensive human resource business services. During her tenure at SCI, she strategically and effectively managed a business portfolio of multi-location, multi-state, and multi-industry client companies totaling over $100 million in gross payroll.

For the five years preceding her contributions to SCI, Amy engaged in a variety of key roles for J.I. Kislak Mortgage Corporation, a full service mortgage banker and financial institution. She served as the company’s EEOC/Affirmative Action Officer, independently authoring the organization’s Affirmative Action Program, Human Resources Generalist, providing internal consultation on a variety of workplace issues, and key contributor in the creation of the course curriculum for Kislak University, a corporate university offering operational, technical, and professional training and development opportunities for management and employees. Amy was also instrumental in the development and implementation of the company’s “Career Banding” compensation program.

Areas of expertise include employee relations, organizational development, regulatory compliance, training & development dispute resolution, HR administration, etc. Industry specialties include: hospitality, healthcare, retail, technology and construction. Amy holds a BS degree in Human Resources Management from Florida State University, and holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) designation.

Amy was named “HR Professional of the Year” by the South Florida Business Journal in 2005 & 2006.
